Gunnar Henderson Is Ready To Make Youthful History

The Baltimore Orioles have decided to call up one of their top prospects in Gunnar Henderson and add him to the taxi squad.

With tomorrow being September 1, it’s very likely that Henderson will have a spot on the rosters as they expand to 28 players.

DL Hall will join Henderson tonight in Cleveland.

But as Henderson makes his first trip to the big leagues, he’s set to make a little history and join some elite company.

He’ll be the youngest Oriole to make his Major League debut since Manny Machado did it in 2012.

He’ll also be the youngest position player acquired via the draft to make his Major League debut since Carlos Correa in 2015.

Henderson is joining an elite group of players to have made their Major League debuts in unique fashion.

The No. 2 prospect in all of baseball has hit .297 with 19 home runs and 76 RBI down in the minors this season.

The 21-year-old is set to join the Orioles and make an impact down the stretch as they make a push for the final Wild Card spot in the American League.

Fans of the Orioles have been waiting in anticipation to see this kid in action.

Now, the wait is over, and Henderson is headed for Baltimore.

Very soon, the Orioles could have one of the best young teams in all of baseball.

Many of these top prospects have proven that they are ready to play in the big leagues.

With all of them coming up at roughly the same time, things are getting exciting in Baltimore and fans are going to have a lot of fun seeing all these stars in action.
